Fired Slipknot Roadie Reveals Identities of new Members

A disgruntled recently fired Slipknot roadie has revealed the names of the two new members of the band by posting their itinerary online.

The band had previously stated that they might never confirm the names of the two new members who were brought in to replace the late Paul Gray (bassist) and Joey Jordison (drums) who was fired last month.

But that stunt went tits up when they fired drum tech Norm Costa. Costa, who has also worked with Slayer, Mastodon and others, posted a picture of the band’s itinerary on his Instagram account naming the new drummer as Jay Weinberg and their bassist as Allessandro ‘Vman’ Venturella.

Costa tagged the image “#blowitup #fuckslipknot.”

Responding to a comment from a follower asking whether he was working with Weinberg, the roadie replied: “I was, no longer.” Responding to another follower, he wrote: “Should have stayed with Mastodon though – a real band!”

The names of the new members were actually leaked earlier in the year. Weinberg was revealed by the singer of his former band Against Me! Back in September when she tweeted: “Dear Slipknot, good luck with that. #shitbag.” And Venturella was outed by his own fans who recognised the very distinctive tattoos on his hands.
